Contents:
Included in the box is one SteelPad QcK+ as seen below. The view belo shows the top and the bottom simultaneously. The top is a slick surface that has ample room for movement. This is paired with a grip backing that holds to the surface the QcK+ is planted on.

Examination:
Shown below are images of the bottom of the pad and the nice grippable backing. The logo is the only design present on the pad which makes it not only simpler, but reduces the risk of a nasty peeling logo, or logo drag. For those that don't know logo drag happens when the logo is lifted ever so slightly from the surface of the actual mouse surface which makes for a dragging sensation from your mouse. To further examine the QcK+ we continue to the bottom of the pad. It has a great grip to any surface and makes high speed movements great. The mouse pad also has just enough weight not to lift at any of the corners and makes the pad very sturdy.

Performance:
The performance of the SteelPad QcK+ was excellent when paired with my Razer Diamondback Plasma LE, with Teflon feet.. In comparison with other pads previously tested here at NippyChips the pad proved to have ample space, resistance, and overall performance. The surface is similar to a spandex fabric material that allows the mouse to have smooth movements. Among the tests with my Razer mouse I also tested this pad with a few spare optical mice I had lying around. One with Teflon feet, and one without. From my use I wouldn't suggest using this mouse without Teflon feet. The performance was below par and just not a very enjoyable experience. The QcK+ worked great with Photoshop, and Final cut Pro due to it's voluminous size. I also tested the pad with UT2004, and BattleField 2. The mouse response was good, The mouse seemed to have an accurate response, and I had a fulfilling experience with gaming. What makes this, and all other soft pads nice is the comfort issue. Personally I wont use a mouse pad that isn't cushioned in some way or another. The QcK+ was comfortable on the wrists and after a few hours of use there was no strain on the wrists.

Conclusion:
The QcK+ is a decent addition to anyones desk that has the space for the big pad. The QcK+ performed very well compared to other reviewed pads. The Qck+ was also supported by a highly grippable backing that was great on the surface of my desk and helped the pad hold to the desk with no slippage.

Pros:
-Grippable Backing
-Easy on the wrists
-Simple black design (fits well with surroundings)

Cons:
-Slightly more expensive for comparable mouse pads

The SteelPad QcK+ is a great addition to your desk. The price is a little higher than competitors, but that's probably due to the high quality. Overall the performance and styling of the QcK+ achieves a 9/10!
